MEDICAL DEVICE This invention, an implantable sphincter cuff to prevent incontinence, was described to IIG by a patent attorney, who had received some disclosure sketches from the doctor/inventor. The challenge was to make the device appear as a viable, functioning medical product, while illustrating the filling and exhausting of the liquid within the cuff, which closes off or allows evacuation of the bowel.
